Living for Chili Garners Celebrity Endorsement:

Got a letter from a famous Chili today!

Dear Living for Chili,
Keep up the good work. Your support of all things chili is great – the fact you are doing this for the sake of helping to rebuild a once-delicious country (Chili) is even better. I am having a huge bowl of chili tonight in your honor.

I remain,

Chili Davis

Monday Chili Update

Monday night was a busy night – had to attend a dry run for the Downtown Dallas Luncheon I will be attending today (thankfully I won’t be presenting anything, but my tech-savvy presence was required by AT&T…) anyway, had a delicious bowl of homemade chili last night, as I was “Living for Chili.” I donated $1 to the people of Chili so that they too might enjoy delicious chili. Thanks to everyone who has stopped by to read the blog. It is so important that we continue to support the people down there. Do your part and eat chili.

Live for Chili Monday Update

So far, the Living for Chili Project has been nothing but a success. Monday, March 1 and Tuesday, March 2, we will be celebrating Texas’ Independence by making a slow cooked crock of Texas chili…

Recipes are more than welcome! Since I am brand, spanking new to the Lone Star State, I’m pretty much used to regular old chili, so I need your help, Texas! Let’s spice things up a bit and Live for Chili!

Living for Chili Project

Dallas -

After the devastating earthquake and botched humanitarian efforts of Will.I.Am, Pepsi, Obama and others, people need to realize that there's not a whole lot we can do to help the people of Haiti, other than upgrading their previous tent cities to those refurbished by the Coleman Tent Corp.

So following the terrible earthquake in Chili and the "tsunami" it created (where are the people blaming Bush for all this?), I decided to take up my own humanitarian effort and enlist all my fellow Chilians and eat Chili for dinner every night this week (meatless on Friday, of course) to show our solidarity with the delicious country of Chili.

Not only will our hearts and minds be warmed by the delicious food, but we will be helping out lovers of Chili everywhere.

Thanks to Jesse Sullivan of Washington, D.C. for inspiring me to "Live for Chili."

Enjoy.
